This course introduces the student to understanding of Worker's Compensation, Statue 489, State and Federal labor laws, requirements for employee manuals, doing business on the internet, organizational solutions to management, scheduling, common labor problems, as well as requirements on labor posting, reporting and posting.

This course is a thought-provoking seminar using overheads, videos, handouts and a comprehensive workbook.

• Employee Manuals: How to develop from scratch including Federal requirements.
• Statue 489 and how it applies to you the contractor.
• Worker's Compensation, record keeping and how to determine your proper codes.

• How to educate, protect and avoid Sexual Harrassment in your business place.
• How to use the Internet properly for your business, including an important segment on Cyber Writing (how not to get flamed!)
